Our early pregnancy baby scan is specifically tailored for parents in the early stages of pregnancy, typically between 6 to 15 weeks. It provides continuous reassurance and the opportunity to witness the baby's heartbeat during each ultrasound scan as well as confirming a single or multiple pregnancy. This package offers a wonderful opportunity for you and your partner to monitor the growth and development of your baby throughout the first trimester.
Please note we use a transabdominal (across your tummy) probe for this scan. So it is important to drink 1 litre of water 60 minutes before your scan. If you are closer to the 6 week mark in your pregnancy a trans-vaginal scan may be recommended by our sonographers with your consent to gain a clearer image of baby. Chaperones are always available to accompany you during these scans. Numi Scan Grimsby do not replace your primary carer in any way. Any abnormalities are to be followed up with your primary carer - we are able to refer with your consent.
